Chocolate Icing on Vanilla Prose

The saying goes “LIFE IS BUT A DREAM” in my case that’s true. I am a child prodigy, I could play piano by listening to the radio. My life was ordinary. I got married at eighteen, had two children, and taught piano. Somewhere from another galaxy out of the blue I started to write poems. I never studied poetry, but somehow my mind started to give life to poems. I write about life, nature, comedy, sadness, music, etc. My poems got to be published. Poetry doesn’t have to be heavy or not understandable to just anybody. Just like the saying “IT’S A BIRD OR A PLANE IT’S Sandra is not a superhero but just a person who likes to write.

About The Author

I was a child prodigy at age seven. I was able to play music without taking piano lessons. my friend had a piano in her apartment and would sit down and play her piano while I waiting for her to go to school her mother used to kick me out all the time because she wanted my friend to play and not me. In fourth grade my teacher sent me to audition for Juilliard school of music. I passed the audition but wasn’t able to travel to New York City for piano lessons. I always played piano for school plays. After graduating from high school, I got married at eighteen. I became a piano teacher giving lessons to children for 30-years. Time passed, I began writing poetry. I received many awards for my poetry work. I also sent my poetry to contests and received my awards. I didn’t go to college to study writing, I write poetry about life, nature what’s happening in every day life. I composed some music for a book written about a turn out to be heroes Holocaust survivor and her sister which I consider to be my must best work. I enjoy writing books.
